Fee For All Services
The Standard Hourly Rate for all our services is $200
The sliding scale is between $130 -200.
We will do our best to accommodate you if this rate is in any way a challenge for you. Please discuss your particular financial situation with us. Please note: The sliding scale fee is available for a portion of the client load and may not be available when you request.
*HST is not included to this fee and will be added.
Length of Psychotherapy
The number of psychotherapy sessions you need as well as how frequently you need to see your therapist depends on such factors as:

Your particular presenting concerns or issues

Severity of your symptoms

How long you've had symptoms or have been dealing with your situation

How quickly you make progress

How much stress you're experiencing
-
How much your mental health concerns interfere with day-to-day life

How much support you receive from family members and others
-
How motivated and engaged you are in therapy
It may take only weeks to help you cope with a short-term situation. Or, treatment may last a year or longer if you have a long-term mental illness or other long-term concerns.
Payment Considerations
If our standard fee is difficult for you to manage please discuss this with us. We will discuss your financial situation at our first appointment. If you have any questions about payment please feel free to contact us.
Fees, Payments and Collection Policy
Payment is expected at the end of each session unless we agree to another pre-determined arrangement. Payment schedules for professional services (consultation, psychotherapy, etc) will be agreed to at the time of request. If your account has not been paid for more than 90 days and alternative arrangements for payment have not been agreed upon, we have the option of using legal means to receive the payment.
Insurance
At the present time OHIP does not cover Psychotherapy. You may have extended insurance coverage through your employer that may support you which we encourage you to look into.
We will assist you with creating a financial plan to meet your needs. We will work together to discuss expectations, needs, and options if finances end before we feel ready to end our sessions. You also have the right to pay in full for our services before any services are given to avoid the problems aforementioned.
